For 71 years, Fellowship
of Christian Athletes has been
challenging coaches and athletes to use the dynamic platform of sports to reach
their peers with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. The profound
commitment to coaches and athletes has landed FCA on Forbes 2025-2026
America’s Top Charities list for the first time in the ministry’s
history.
“This
monumental recognition from Forbes is a testament to the continued vision and
mission of FCA: to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the
influence of coaches and athletes,” said FCA President and CEO Shane
Williamson. “As an organization, FCA is dedicated to demonstrating a steadfast
commitment to the Gospel as we seek to lead every coach and athlete into a
growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.”

“Forbes’ annual list of America’s Top
Charities is based on the value of private donations received in the latest
reported fiscal year, and excludes revenue from government support, fees for
services or investment earnings. The full list [includes] the category of
mission as a feature for sorting—for example, domestic needs, international
needs, health or youth.”
Williamson
went on to say, “This recognition by Forbes is a testament to the power of the
donors who are so critical to our staff reaching every coach and athlete in
every sports environment. Giving is at the heart of FCA, and every donor plays
a vital role — through their generosity, lives are impacted, faith is shared
and Christ’s love is made known worldwide.”
Since 1954, FCA
has used the powerful medium of sports and building relationships to reach the
world for Jesus Christ. FCA is cultivating Christian principles
by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in
Christ and lead others to do the same so that lives are changed for current and
future generations.
Through Camps, Huddles, Fields
of Faith events and other opportunities, FCA
is reaching coaches and athletes with the Gospel in exciting ways. In addition
to helping coaches and athletes grow in their faith on the field, FCA
is devoted to ensuring that one resource remains above all others — the Bible.
As a sports
ministry, FCA has engaged in Bible ministry since its first Camp
in 1956. Printing over 200,000 Bibles every year and distributing almost 3
million Bibles around the world in the past 15 years, FCA is one
of the most committed Bible distributors in the world.
