Moses Muge, a highly accomplished Kenyan coach, sports administrator and ministry leader, has been named FCA's first-ever Regional Vice President for East Africa. Muge began his new post July 1, 2021.

“Over the years, Moses has grown as a strategic leader who has a God-sized vision for East Africa,” said Dan Britton, Chief Field Officer. “He will provide much-needed support, encouragement, and direction to grow our team through the region. FCA is excited to appoint him to this newly created role of Regional Vice President for East Africa.”

“Moses is God-fearing, trustworthy, teachable, hardworking and humble, which are some of the distinguishing qualities of a Christian leader. FCA is so happy to have Moses step into this position to serve our teammates in the East Africa Region,” added Vincent Asamoah, Divisional Vice President of South Global.

The U.S. Southeast Central Region is excited about the opportunity to grow its international advancement efforts with East Africa as Moses steps into this role. FCA works with local sports ministry leaders and existing ministries in the East Africa International Region, and it has been expanding its impact.

Over the past 23 years, Moses has coached for more than 10 high schools, universities and clubs, which collectively have won 20 championships. Muge has been responsible for key administrative and proprietary tasks at a variety of organizations, including Sprite Basketball and One Died For All. With a degree in Information Science and Business Management, Muge will be invaluable to FCA's Africa team. He is married and has one son.

Silas Mullis, Director of Field Operations, commends Muge’s appointment to lead the East Africa Region. “Moses is stepping up to take on this strategic role in East Africa. There is the opportunity to lead thousands of coaches and athletes from East Africa in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. The leadership experiences that Moses brings to this role are huge in helping him pioneer this role. Let us be in prayer for Moses and his family as they take on this leadership mantle.”
