Joy Cofield serves as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at the Support Center in Kansas City, MO. She oversees, leads, plans, directs, develops and coordinates the policies, procedures, activities and staff of the Human Resource department, employee relations, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s vision, mission and talent strategy. Previously, Joy served as FCA’s Benefits Manager before becoming the Human Resources Director in 2018.
Other than a few short stays in Germany and Virginia as an Army kid, Joy has been a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. Seeds of faith were planted at a young age, and she’s faithfully progressed in her love for God and His plans for her life. A graduate of Mid-America Nazarene University (MNU) with a BA in Business/Organizational Leadership, Joy thrives on spending time with her family and has a passion for prayer. Her heart for encouraging and empowering women to grow in the grace of God led her to organize the S.H.E.E. women’s conference held in Kansas City each year.
Joy and her husband Charles reside in Kansas City, KS and are pastors at Kansas City Community Church. They have two adult children, Keaton and Kennedy, and one granddaughter.
