Hannah Kao serves as the Executive Vice President of International Advancement, where she is responsible for serves to fulfill the FCA vision by leading with excellence in Advancement globally. This position will support the International Divisional Vice Presidents (IDVPs) with developing their strategy for Advancement. It includes collaborative work with the IEVPs of Sport, Field, and Support. The IEVP collaborates with Support Center staff to serve the US Regions, strengthen the International Divisions and lead global International Advancement.
Hannah Kao has been on staff with FCA since 2011 but had her first FCA encounter in the summer of 2000 as a middle school camper. The impact and presence FCA had on her life continued from youth to college. She interned with FCA for three summers before joining full-time staff after college graduation. For the first seven years of her FCA career, she was a Representative in Maryland serving the coaches and athletes in her local community. Then, she transitioned to become the Assistant Regional Director of International Advancement for the Mid-Atlantic Region, where she has served the past five years.
Because of the impact of FCA and being a daughter of immigrants, including a parent who was born and raised in a communist country, Hannah is passionate about equipping and empowering others to reach the nations for Christ through the platform of sports.
Hannah resides in Maryland, right outside Washington, D.C., with her husband, Ed.
